Gayatri Projects has secured two new orders worth Rs 529 crore and Rs 394 crore from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The two projects include the rehabilitation and four-laning of Cuttak-Angul section of NH-42 (new NH-55) from km 60.200 to km 112.000 (package 2) and four-laning of Rajamunda-Barkote section of NH-23 (New NH-143) from km 287.22 to 337.185 in Odisha. These projects will be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
These projects also come on the heels of two recent highway construction projects in Odisha: Rs 1,255-crore NH-42 (new NH-55) Angul-Sambalpur and the Rs 583-crore NH-42 Cuttack-Angul Package-1. With these four new projects in close proximity, the company plans to reap the benefits of economies of scale, improved planning and optimised procurement and utilisation of resources and equipment.
